Heaven’s Kitchen’s is on a mission is to help individuals who have lost a sense of hope and direction. Stepping Stones is a dedicated fund to assist us in achieving our mission by means of ticket sales, volunteerism, donations, and sponsorships.
Through Stepping Stones, Heaven’s Kitchen will afford to offer financial assistance and resource connections to those struggling through life-altering events, empowering them to move forward towards a more prosperous future.
HOW IT WORKS
Stepping Stones is intended to provide a whole-person approach by addressing financial issues, pain points, and barriers for individuals or families. The Fund is intended to act as a stepping stone, providing temporary help to financially support an individual or family experiencing a crisis and to stabilize current financial strains. Assistance from the fund is intended to be a one-time gift. This fund will not be used for emergency financial assistance.

Applications will open twice a year to individuals and families. Applications can be dropped off at an approved location, mailed or delivered.
select
Applications are submitted to an anonymous Selection Committee for consideration. All applications will be blinded before submission to ensure the anonymity of the person applying.
PLAN
A single recipient will be notified of their award and will meet with a member of the Board of Directors to work together to develop their Support Plan to assist in achievement of their goals. This assistance can include but is not limited to financial planning assistance, housing resources, physical and mental health referrals including health insurance counseling, food insecurity resources and child care resources. Recipients will also be made available a guide of resources for other needs.
SUPPORT
Heaven’s Kitchen and the chosen recipient will work together to address financial concerns along with connecting them to resources to provide further support.
